Divine Kitchens (NAT-218015-0) is one of the first Massachusetts remodeling companies to complete the EPA certification requirements for Lead Safe remodeling under the new Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP).  These rules are intended to protect homowners from the potential dangers of lead disturbed during the remodeling process and applies to all home built before 1978.   More information at the EPA website here.

Westborough/Wellesley, MA -- Divine Kitchens, winner of numerous Contractor of the Year Awards from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, has been named the exclusive dealer of Leicht Cabinetry for the state of Massachusetts.

“This is very exciting for us,” said Mariette Barsoum, Divine’s owner and design director. “Leicht is the #1 cabinet manufacturer in Germany and is considered the benchmark for the most innovative trends in kitchen design. In fact they are introducing a new view of the kitchen at Eurocucina 2010, the world’s largest exhibition of kitchen furniture, in Milan this April.”

According to Barsoum, this release date dovetails perfectly with Divine’s new Wellesley showroom opening, which will be the only venue showcasing Leicht in Massachusetts, offering architects, interior designers and homeowners an opportunity to explore this exquisite kitchen furniture in person.

“I love clean, modern lines,” said Barsoum. “With 51 styles and 2,000 colors to choose from, Leicht leads the world in modern kitchen furniture and I am really looking forward to introducing it to our customers.”

In addition to style, Leicht is also known for its extraordinary engineering and precise manufacturing. The company, which was started by two brothers in Germany in 1928, is known today for setting the standard for design aesthetics and ergonomics. It has earned the LGA Furniture Institute of Germany GS safety seal for the highest degree of comfort, loading capacity, material consistency and safety, as well as the RAL Quality Certificate "M" which represents the top products of the German Furniture Industry that have been tested for healthy living standards.

According to Barsoum, the line’s design matrix allows the kitchen to be customized for the stature of the end user without sacrifice. With standard features that include self-closing drawers, door dampers, glass sides on pullouts, and metal floors in sink bases, the quality cannot be matched.
